Voice Drop ("we," "our," "us") is made by Hubble. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Voice Drop mobile app and website, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We designed Voice Drop so your thoughts stay yours.
Account information. If you create an account, we collect your email address, authentication details (via Apple, Google, or email sign-in link), and subscription status. You may also set a display name. Guest users can use limited features without an account.
Content you create. When you record a drop, we process audio to produce a transcript and use AI to organize it into cards, threads, mixes, and projects. We store transcripts, cards, written notes, and related metadata (such as timestamps and categories) so you can access them later.
Usage and device data. We collect technical information needed to operate and improve the app: device type, operating system version, app version, language settings, crash logs, and basic interaction events (such as feature usage). We do not collect your contacts, precise location, or advertising identifiers.
Payment information. Subscriptions are purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play and managed via RevenueCat. We receive subscription status and purchase metadata, but we do not receive or store your payment card details.
Support communications. If you contact us, we collect the information you provide (such as your name, email, and message content) to respond to your request.
We use your information to:
Provide core features (transcription, AI sorting, threads, Mixer, Projects, and sync across devices); authenticate your account and manage subscriptions; maintain security, fix bugs, and improve performance; and respond to support requests.
We do not sell your personal data, show third-party ads, or use your drops to build public profiles. Your content is private to your account and is not shared with other Voice Drop users.
Audio is sent to speech-to-text services for transcription. Transcripts are analyzed by language models to categorize and connect your thoughts. Processing occurs on secure servers; audio is handled transiently for transcription and is not kept as a permanent file separate from your account workflow unless stored as part of your drop.
Your content is sent to third-party AI providers (including OpenAI and Anthropic) only to generate your results. It is not used to train our models or third-party general AI models on your data for advertising purposes. Where available, we use enterprise API terms that restrict provider use of customer data.
We use trusted processors who handle data on our behalf under contract, including:
Supabase (cloud hosting and database); RevenueCat, Apple, and Google (subscription billing); OpenAI and Anthropic (transcription and AI analysis); and crash-reporting or analytics tools used to keep the app stable. These providers may only use your data to perform services for us, subject to their own privacy and security obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only:
With service providers listed above; when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security; or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale where this policy continues to apply or you are notified.
We may share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably identify you.
Your drops and account data are kept until you delete them or delete your account. You can remove individual drops, wipe your entire history (History → Wipe all history), or delete your account from the app.
When you delete content or your account, we permanently delete associated data from active systems within 30 days and from backups within 90 days, except where retention is required by law. See our Delete Account page for step-by-step instructions.
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and encryption at rest for stored content, plus access controls and logging on production systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we work to protect your data and will notify you of a data breach when required by law.
You can access, edit, export, and delete your data directly in the app at any time. Depending on where you live, you may also have additional rights, including under the GDPR (EU/EEA/UK) or CCPA (California), such as the right to know what we collect, request a copy, correct inaccurate data, restrict or object to certain processing, or lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Voice Drop is operated from outside your country. If your data is transferred internationally, we use appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms, where required by law.
Voice Drop is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum digital-consent age in your region), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app before they take effect. The effective date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
