These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Voice Drop mobile application ("we," "our," "us"). By using Voice Drop, you agree to these Terms.
Voice Drop lets you record spoken thoughts ("drops"), which we transcribe and automatically sort into categories and threads using AI, and provides tools (Mixer, Projects) to help you make use of them.
You can use Voice Drop as a guest without an account. If you create an account, you're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
Voice Drop offers a 7-day free trial followed by a paid subscription (monthly or yearly, as shown at checkout). Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal. Billing is handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play — refunds are subject to their policies, not ours. Manage or cancel anytime through your Apple or Google account settings.
You own everything you record and everything Voice Drop generates from it. We only use your content to provide the app's features to you, per our Privacy Policy. We do not claim ownership and never share it publicly or with other users.
Don't submit content that is illegal, infringes others' rights, or involves the exploitation or endangerment of minors. We rely in part on our AI providers' built-in safety systems to detect and refuse such content, and may suspend accounts that attempt to misuse the service.
You are solely responsible for anything you record, type, or otherwise submit to Voice Drop ("Submitted Content"), and for the consequences of submitting it. You represent that you have the right to submit it and that it does not violate any law or infringe any third party's rights. We do not review Submitted Content before it is processed and take no responsibility for its accuracy, legality, or content.
Voice Drop uses third-party AI models to transcribe, sort, summarize, and otherwise transform your Submitted Content into transcripts, cards, threads, mix results, and other output ("AI Output"). AI Output is generated automatically and we do not review it before it is shown to you or stored. AI Output may be inaccurate, incomplete, miscategorized, taken out of context, or otherwise wrong, and we make no representation or warranty of any kind about its accuracy, reliability, completeness, or fitness for any purpose. You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and deciding whether to rely on, act on, share, or store any AI Output. We do not control and cannot guarantee the behavior of the third-party AI models we use, and we disclaim all liability for AI Output to the maximum extent permitted by law.
You may stop using Voice Drop and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, including for submitting content that violates Section 6.
Voice Drop, including all Submitted Content processing and AI Output, is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy. We do not warrant the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that transcription/sorting will be accurate or complete.
To the maximum extent permitted by law: (a) we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of your use of Voice Drop, your Submitted Content, or any AI Output, even if advised of the possibility of such damages; (b) our total aggregate liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of (i) what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (ii) $20 USD; (c) these limitations apply regardless of legal theory (contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise) and even if a limited remedy fails of its essential purpose.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: your Submitted Content; your use or misuse of any AI Output; your violation of these Terms; or your violation of any law or third party's rights.
AI Output is not professional advice of any kind (legal, medical, financial, or otherwise). You use Voice Drop and rely on AI Output entirely at your own risk.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after a change means you accept the update.
